This case arose out of a contract between Burrowwood Associates, Inc., (Burrowwood) an independent trucking company, and Safelite Glass Corporation (Safelite), whereby Burrowwood agreed to provide truck drivers for Safelite's use in delivering its products. Burrowwood claimed Safelite breached the contract, causing it to be damaged, and brought suit against Safelite claiming actual and punitive damages. Burrowwood's theories were breach of contract for failure to pay for services rendered and tortious interference with business relationships. Other facts will be stated as may be necessary to clarify the opinion.
